民间的风俗、百姓的习尚，随着时代的变迁而改变。旧京的民俗，融合了宫廷、王府、士大夫及普通民众的生活方式，是一幅完整的北京生活画卷。清末民初的北京，风云激荡，传统思想和西方思潮相互碰撞，反映在民俗上自然是多姿多彩，别具风貌。从衣食住行，生老病死，到民间信仰，节日活动，本专题的内容依托于首都图书馆北京地方文献中心的馆藏文献，以图像资料为主，通过五部分内容展现清末民初的北京民俗。
　　The folk customs and civil habits changed by times. The traditional folk customs integrated with life styles of

imperial family, literati and ordinary people, exhibited a life scroll of Beijing. During the period of late Qing Dynasty and early time of the Republic of China, Beijing witnessed turbulent political period during which the traditional Chinese thoughts collided with the western ones. The folk customs such as clothing, food, shelter and transportation, birth, oldness, illness and death, folk beliefs and festival activities were colorful and distinctive at that time. Relying on literature collections in Beijing Local Document Center of Capital Library of China, the special exhibition mainly displays folk customs in Beijing during late Qing Dynasty and early time of the Republic of China via five sections with images data.
